Delighted Students, teachers, administrators and stakeholders of MCNP and ISAP congregated as one to formally open the Palaro at Wika 2016 at the school gymnasium on August 24. A traditional Eucharistic mass was conducted early in the morning and was followed directly by the Cheer and Dance Competition which served as the opening salvo for the succeeding events. Said competition was participated by selected students from different teams.
The loud cheers as a sign of excitement and eagerness to display the athletic abilities of students was finally favored when Dr. Ronald P. Guzman, the president of the institution officially opened the Intramurals and at the end of his opening speech, he left reassuring words saying, “to those who will be declared as winners and for those students who will give their best, congratulations in advance”. The celebration aims to promote sportsmanship and camaraderie among the athletes and to sustain harmony and unity among students. It has been said that the celebration includes different sports and academic activities as part of the Buwan ng Wika, 2016. Added to that, there were six competing teams namely; yellow, blue, red, green, pink, and white. Winners will have the chance to try out for the Provincial Private Schools Athletic Association Meet
