“Palaro at Buwan ng Wika 2016; Pundasyon ng Kapatiran Susi sa Pagpapalaganap ng Kaalaman”, the theme of this year’s Palaro at Buwan ng Wika 2016 from August 23-26, 2016. Anyone can sense warm fuzzes within every mighty eagle for the day that they can show-off their talents in sports and different co-curricular activities has come. Mighty eagles are enthusiastically walking around the campus in eager anticipation of what will happen during the said celebration. Last August 23, the most anticipated search for G. at Bb. Palaro at Buwan ng Wika 2016 was held at the MCNP-ISAP gymnasium. The event became more intense when the ravishing, elegant and stunning candidates overpowered the stage. To electrify the wild crowd, Mr. Karl Michael Balderas, the title holder of Gentleman of the Philippines 2016, serenaded the gorgeous and refined Bb. Palaro at Wika 2016 candidates. The students became even wilder due to the angelic voice of Mr. Balderas, for it had obviously lessened the stress and anxiety of the candidates as well as the crowd. The serenade was followed by the traditional farewell walk of the former titleholders of the said pageant. As the former G. at Bb. Palaro at Buwan ng Wika, they narrated how the title changed them in a positive way and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their departments that supported them and helped them in performing their duties as G. at Bb. Palaro at Buwan ng Wika 2015. On August 24, 2016, the Cheerdance competition which the yellow team dominated was held in the morning while in the afternoon, the elimination for the Balagtasan, where the red team-ISAP’s entry for the final round and green team-MCNP’s entry for
the final round won; and the dancesport competition, which was dominated by white team, was held simultaneously. Moreover, it has been a practice in the twin institution to create different competing teams during the palaro. The said teams composed of the following departments, the Red team consists of the College of Education, College of Social work, College of HRM and Tourism, and the College of Criminology; for the White team-the College of Customs Administration, College of Information Technology and Computer Engineering, College of Business Administration, College of Accountancy; the Green team was dominated by the College of Radiologic Technology alone; the Blue team -College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy, and two-year courses; and the Yellow team -College of Medical Technology ,and College of Physical Therapy.
